Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel criticized his team’s players for the German Super Cup match. His words are quoted from the club’s social media account.

“I don’t have an explanation right now. What we’re showing today has nothing to do with how we train, with form, with atmosphere. It’s annoying, it’s just annoying.

Kane? I feel sorry for him. He probably thinks we haven’t been training for these four weeks. Our performance today had nothing to do with what we were going to do. I’m sorry,” said Tuchel.

On 12 August, Bayern announced the signing of Harry Kane. On the same day, Thomas Tuchel’s team lost to Leipzig with a score of 0:3 in the national Super Cup match. Dani Olmo scores a hat-trick against Munich.

Kane made 46 appearances in the Premier League in the ending 2022/23 season, scoring 28 goals. A graduate of Tottenham Academy, the striker has been playing for the London team since 2004.

Along with the England team, Kane won a silver medal at the European Championship – 2020 and a bronze medal in the Nations League in 2019.
