Italian ‘Salernitana’ sports director Morgan De Sanctis denies information “Match TV” reports that the club is interested in hiring Atalanta football player Alexei Miranchuk “Sport Express”.
“We are not currently interested in leasing Miranchuk,” De Sanctis said.
In September 2020 Miranchuk moved from Lokomotiv Moscow to Italian Atalanta. His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2024.
The Russian player failed to secure a spot in the main team and moved to Turin on loan last summer. The midfielder spent a year at the Turin club, scoring four goals in 29 games. The player’s manager announced that the negotiations between the clubs for the transfer of the Russian football player were suspended. Now Turintsy is focused on signing Junior Messias from Milan.
The transfer window in Italy closes on 1 September.
