Paris Saint-Germain have made useful signings that could drastically change their outlook on the start of next season.
PSG will look radically different on the first day of the 2023-2024 season. Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos are gone, Kylian Mbappé will follow soon, but five interesting players have been signed, as well as a new manager.
And all the new additions seem to be quite useful. Marco Asensio will be a regular on the right wing, Manuel Ugarte will certainly get his chance to play in central midfield and Milan Skriniar is a world-class free signing on the defensive side. Meanwhile, Lee Kang-In, a former Mallorcan, should impress from day one in the role of attacking midfielder. Lucas Hernández will not be full right away, but will bring experience and class as a right-back or central defender.
And the Parisians have not yet left the market. They will need an attacking player, possibly a number 9, to replace Mbappé. There is also a need for more offensive depth, and perhaps more reinforcement for the left back. So a lot has happened and a lot still needs to change.
But how will PSG’s new signings affect their formation? And what will they look like on the first day of the 2023-2024 season? GOAL take a look at the likely first XI of the Parisians…
