FTR chief Tarpishchev: Medvedev made difficult match with Eubanks 04:11

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev missed the flow of the match after the first set of the quarter-final match played with US representative Christopher Eubanks. This view was expressed in a comment by Shamil Tarpischev, President of the Russian Tennis Federation (FTR). TASS.

But in the end, he lost two sets and the match turned into a nuisance,” said Tarpishchev.

Medvedev won in five sets with scores of 6:4, 1:6, 4:6, 7:6 (7:4), 6:2. He won the first set, then lost two games and then managed to make up. The match lasted 2 hours 57 minutes. He will face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the tournament.

Alcaraz defeated Norway’s Holger Rune in the quarterfinals. The fight, which lasted 2 hours and 22 minutes, ended with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:4, 6:4 in three sets.

The fight between Medvedev and Alcaraz will take place on July 14. Estimated start time is 15:00 Moscow time.
