“Yuri Vasilievich is gaining strength, all procedures are being done, he should be discharged on Friday, July 14 and transferred to the Brain Institute,” said Gavrilov Jr.
The former football player was transferred to the rehabilitation center on June 23.
Senior “Spartak” was in intensive care on May 30. Gavrilov played for Spartak from 1977 to 1985. He became the champion of the USSR twice as part of the red and white, in 1983 he became the top scorer of the USSR championship. As part of the USSR national team, Gavrilov became the bronze medalist of the Olympics.
