Vladislav Chepelev, attorney for SILA International Lawyers, said that if Russia’s Adelina Sotnikova had a “clean” B test, the results of the 2014 Olympic Games in women’s single skating could not be revised. Words lead the way “Sport Express”.

“The South Korean Anti-Doping Agency can write any letter to the IOC. In this case, however, such a letter is unlikely to result in a specific response from the IOC or WADA. It is highly likely that the investigation was not closed because of the “clean” B sample as previously stated. In this case, the IOC has already conducted its own investigation and admitted that Sotnikova was not involved in any violations, ”Chepelev said.

Adelina Sotnikova said in an interview with Tatarka FM YouTube channel that she tested positive for doping in 2014. She should have been tried, but then her “B” test came back negative and she was acquitted.

At the Olympic Games in Sochi, Sotnikova won a gold medal in single skating. South Korea’s National Olympic Committee plans to apply to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) with a request for an investigation.

Previously in the State Duma declarationThat the South Korean NOC has the right to demand an investigation into the Sotnikova case.
