Ottawa meets with Russian hockey player Tarasenko

Pierre Dorion, general manager of the National Hockey League (NHL) Ottawa Senators club, said he met with representatives of Russian forward Vladimir Tarasenko on Tuesday. TSN.

The official did not comment on negotiations with the Russian forward, but said the club wanted to strengthen its offensive position.

In 2012 Tarasenko was selected by the North American club in the 16th place in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in 2010, after which SKA St. Petersburg to St. Louis Blues.

Tarasenko played for the Blues for ten years, after which the club traded him to the New York Rangers in the middle of the 2022/23 season. Tarasenko scored 18 goals and made 32 assists in 69 games last season.

On June 24, he was named one of the NHL top free agents, Tarasenko was included in this list and placed 14th in the top 15.
