Officially the State Investigation Bureau of Ukraine (SBI) telegraph channel Moscow announced the expropriation of the assets of CSKA head Evgeny Giner.

According to the press service of the organization, the First Investment Bank has passed into state ownership. Evgeny Giner owned 88.89% of the company’s shares.

Giner, 63, became president of CSKA on February 20, 2001. During his time at the club, the army team became Russian champion six times, won the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup seven times, and also became the first winner of the UEFA Cup in Russian history.

In 2020, after the transfer of the controlling stake of the club to VEB.RF, Giner became the vice chairman of the board of CSKA.
