The 2023 Euro Under-19 Cup is looking for a champion and will do so from July 3, the date on which the final leg of the continental competition officially begins.

Spain’s national team, led from the bench by José Lana, will go in search of the ninth title in its history in Malta, the venue of the championship, the country that has won the trophy the most times in this category .
The hosts will be joined by seven teams moving up from the elite round in the draw for the final, which took place on Wednesday, April 19 at the Manoel Theater in Valletta. The top two of each group advance to the semi-finals.
The Malta Football Federation (MFA) previously hosted the 2014 European Under-17 Championship, which was the only previous time a Maltese team had played in a UEFA final tournament.

The stages of the two pools of the tournament (A and B) will be played from 3 to 10 July of the same month. All matches are played in one match, without a second leg. The top two finishers in each group will advance to the semi-finals.
