The first leg of the tie will be played on September 23 or 24, and the return leg will be played on September 30 or October 1 this year.
AtticGo CBM Elche coach Joaquin Rocamoraemphasized the great joy that the invitation represents for the Elche team. “We are very happy. Last season it was the continental competition that excited us the most and it is great news that the Club continues to move forward. We were particularly excited by the games we were able to experience at Esperanza Lag last year. We really want to enjoy this competition again. As the Spanish team, we start from the favourites. History again. We will try to write and make it to the final for the first time.”
Classification for European competition has arrived following last year’s Iberdrola Warrior League runner-up. The Elche club will play on the Old Continent for the fourth consecutive season, adding to its historical box two events where it previously left our borders to compete. Last season, AtticGo CBM Elche reached the semi-finals of the tournament, losing to Mecalia Atlético Guardés. One season ago, BM Rocasa Gran Canaria was Elche’s executioner in the quarter-finals.
