Paris Saint-Germain’s Sevillian goalkeeper, Sergio Rico, who is in hospital recovering from the injuries sustained after an accident with a horse, sent a thank you message today: “I wanted to thank everyone who showed me and sent their love in these difficult days. I continue to work on my recovery every day getting better. I feel very happy, again, thank you all and hope to see you soon.”
Rico left the ICU last Wednesday and will continue his recovery on the floor at the Virgen del Rocío hospital in Seville.
In statements to journalists after visiting him in hospital, his wife, Alba Silva, reported on the 5th that the player had left the ICU and they can now be with him for 24 hours, although there is still no prediction of when he can be fired.
Alba remembered the difficult month and a half that the whole family went through, which she thanked for being with her one hundred percent.
Sevilla celebrated this good news through its Twitter account
Sergio Rico had to be hospitalized last May after an accident with a horse while participating in the Rocío pilgrimage. The footballer was hospitalized on the 28th of that month for serious injuries sustained when he fell from a horse and was kicked in the head by the animal, causing a head injury.
