Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated Russian representative Anastasia Potapova in the third round of Wimbledon.
The match, which lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes, ended with 6:2, 7:5 equality.
In the fourth round, Andreeva will play with the American Madison Keys, the 18th racket in the world. Mirra Andreeva is the 102nd racket in the world.
Wimbledon started on July 3 and will run until July 16. The tournament’s prize fund is £44,700,000.
The winners of Wimbledon in 2022 were Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina and Serbia’s Novak Djokovic. Athletes from Russia and Belarus were not allowed to participate in that tournament.
