Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev defeated Belgian David Goffin to advance to the fourth round of Wimbledon.
The match, which lasted 3 hours and 2 minutes, ended with a score of 6:3, 6:7 (6:8), 7:6 (7:5), 6:2.
Rublev fired 14 times, made three double mistakes and converted 6 breakpoints out of 15 earned.
Rublev will play with Kazakhstan representative Alexander Bublik in the next round.
Wimbledon started on July 3 and will run until July 16. The tournament’s prize fund is £44,700,000.
The winners of Wimbledon in 2022 were Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina and Serbia’s Novak Djokovic. Athletes from Russia and Belarus were not allowed to participate in that tournament.
