Three-time British Formula 1 champion Jackie Stewart suffered a stroke in June. daily mail.

Earlier this summer, Stewart, 84, arrived in Jordan for the wedding of the country’s Crown Prince Hussein. On the eve of the wedding, the athlete fell ill in his hotel room.

Stewart said he passed out. After his recovery, he managed to call his son, who lived on a different floor in the same hotel. The son took Stewart to the hospital where he was treated.

The athlete could not go to the wedding. Bahrain’s Crown Prince Hamad bin Isa flew home on Al Khalifa’s private plane. Now the British feel good.

Stewart spent nine seasons in Formula 1. He retired after the US Grand Prix in 1973. He finished the season first overall.
