Former Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand spoke on his social media page about Mason Mount’s move from Chelsea to the Red Devils camp.
“I’m really pleased with Mount’s arrival. It will bring us creativity and work ethic as a player. He definitely complements our roster and is unlike any other midfielder. I really think that in time Chelsea will regret selling Mount,” wrote Ferdinand.
Mount made 24 appearances in the English Premier League (EPL) last season and scored 3 goals. He is a Chelsea graduate, which he joined in 2005. The midfielder has surpassed all England’s junior and junior teams.
In the 2022/23 season, Manchester City became the champion of the Premier League. Five points behind, Arsenal finished second. Manchester United are in third place.
The new season in the Premier League starts in mid-August.
