Spartak Moscow’s forward Quincy Promes was extremely helpful to the team in the last season of the Russian Premier League (RPL). Such an opinion in the comment “Match TV” said Eduard More, former Spartak defender.

Understanding that maybe you can not go anywhere else, you can only play in Russia, Quincy will show what he is capable of, play better than before. Perfect on the football field and in daily life, he takes the team with him. “Promes has shown that he is a great professional,” said Mor.

On 19 June, the Dutch Royal Court sentenced Promes to 18 months in prison for stabbing his cousin.

The football player stabbed his relative in the knee at a family party in the summer of 2020. The cousin of the football player went to the police 4 months after the incident because he wanted to solve the problem in the family first.

Promes is also a defendant in a criminal case involving smuggling and drug trafficking, which led Dutch police to wiretap his phone calls. Thus, law enforcement learned the details of the conflict and obtained evidence that Promes had attacked his brother.

Earlier, former coach of Spartak Moscow, Oleg Romantsev, said that after the court decision given to the player in the Netherlands, the red and white football player Promes did not have the right to determine his fate.
