Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua will face Dillian Whyte. It has been reported sky sports.
The match will be played on 12 August in London. The parties have agreed on the contract.
Anthony Joshua previously held heavyweight titles from the World Boxing Association (WBA Super), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO). These belts were taken from the British by Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated Joshua in September 2021. In August 2022, the boxers played a rematch in which the Ukrainian regained strength.
White is a former “interim” WBC world champion and WBC World Champion, a mandatory contender for the WBC Silver (2017-2019) and WBO International (2018-2019) heavyweight titles.
