The second stage of the Tour de France takes place entirely in the Basque Country, with a 210km route between Vitoria Gasteiz and San Sebastián; . The beginning will be quick, which may lead to a break in comfortable terrain, but then a continuous rise and fall will be felt in the legs, and it will end with an explosive scene where the general’s men will emerge.

5 ports in the menu, Alto de Udana (3rd, 4.5 km, 5.1), then Cota de Aztiria (4th, 2.7 km, 5.3) to start with. At 140 km the peloton will face Alto de Alkiza (3a, 4.2 km to 5.7), then Cota de Gurutze (4a, 2.6 km to 4.7) and finally, the ascent to Jaizkibel (2a, 8.1 km to 5.3), the possible master of the stage.

Departure will be picked up from Vitoria at 12.25 and arrival is scheduled between 17 and 17.30.
