Dutch MP Motorsport driver Dilano van’t Hoff died in a racing accident. This was reported by the team’s press service.

“We are devastated by the loss of one of our brightest Dutch talents who have brought so much energy to our team over the years. Dilano has been part of our racing family since his motorsport debut with the MP in 2021.”

The accident involving multiple cars occurred on 1 July during the “Formula Alpin” race of the regional European championship, which belongs to the “Formula 3” class, at the Belgian Spa. The Dutch driver lost control and crashed into another car driven by Irishman Adam Fitzgerald.

The athlete was 18 years old. He became world champion in the Formula 4 class in 2021.

It is worth noting that in the summer of 2019, French racer Antoine Hubert died on the same track during the Formula 2 race.
