Galatasaray coach wants to see Chalov in the team

Journalist Yakup Chinar reported on Twitter that the striker of Moscow football club CSKA, Fedor Chalov, is in the field of interest of Turkish Galatasaray.

According to the source, coach Okan Buruk wants to see the Russian player in person.

On 21 June, Fanatik reported that Chalov had agreed to move to Galatasaray. However, the general manager of the army club, Roman Babaev, said that no one had contacted CSKA regarding the transfer of the striker.

The 25-year-old striker has already played in the European Championship – in 2022 he played on loan for Swiss Basel, where he played 14 matches and scored four goals.

In the season ended, Chalov made 41 appearances for CSKA in all competitions, scoring 24 goals and providing 6 assists. Chalov helped the army club win the silver medal in the Russian Premier League (RPL) and win the Russian Cup.
