Asier Alonso, Lucentum’s new sporting director

Asier Alonso was the sporting director of Araberri Basket in the 2015-2018 seasons before playing for the Sevillian team. It coincided with Lucentino coach Antonio Pérez Caínzos.

Alonso will take over the sports management of the Alicante team for the next two seasons, with the option of a third additional season.

Lucentum’s new sporting director is very excited after closing his partnership with the Alicante team. “I welcome this new phase with great enthusiasm, it seems to me a growing project with great potential for today and for the future. We have a very important challenge ahead of us that we must build together. I had the opportunity to work and learn at ACB with Juanma Rodríguez and Berdi Pérez, who have been very important to my learning process in recent years. For myself, I will do my best to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves and add as much value to the club as possible. I have a lot of confidence in teamwork, where each of us puts our best in hard work and humility. I’m sure we’ll do a great job together and get our fans excited again.
