Spanish specialist Luis Enrique will replace Christophe Galtier as head coach of Paris Saint-Germain in the middle of next week. It has been reported Le Parisien.
“Luis Enrique has already started working and is in constant communication with club management, particularly PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and advisor Luis Campos,” the article states.
In 2022, Galtier was invited to head coach of PSG, signing a two-year employment contract. In the 2022/23 season, under his leadership, the capital’s team won the French championship.
In the Champions League, the Parisians completed their performance in the 1/8 final stage, losing to Bayern Munich on aggregate.
Luis Enrique’s last assignment was for the Spain national team. In addition to him, coach has worked in Spanish Celta and Barcelona, as well as Italian Rome.
