The promotions and relegations of the 2021/2022 season in Europe

After the resolution of the promotions and relegations of the five major European football leagues in their 20/21 campaign, the new divisions were formed and with them the candidates to go down and up by May 2022.

Historic Premier clubs could return, just as some of the greats in Germany have had to wander B and strive to return. Similar cases are occurring in Italy, France and Spain.

Then in Goal we show you the status of the teams competing between the bottom of the first categories and the glory of the first places in the promotion:

GERMANY

Stuttgart (30) would face relegation after 33 contested dates and Hertha (33) is at serious risk. Arminia Bielefeld (27) loses the category. The lower Greuther Fürth (18) has been rejected.

Schalke (62) and Werder Bremen (60) currently hold promotion positions from the 2. Bundesliga. Hamburg (57) the promotion. Darmstadt (57) and St. Pauli (54) are not giving up.

SPAIN

Mallorca (33) and Alavés (31) leave LaLiga after 36 games. Levante is gone (29). They cannot relax Cádiz (35) or Granada (37).

Almería (76) and Eibar (74) stormed in from the Second Division, who would immediately rise. Valladolid (72), Tenerife (69), Girona (64) and Real Oviedo (64) would hit the home run for promotion. They want to put down Ponferradina (63) and Las Palmas (61).

ITALY

Cagliari (29), Genoa (28) and Venezia (25) are the most complicated in Series A, which would go to Series B after 36 dates. Salernitana, with 30, is next in line.

Lecce (71) and Cremonese (38) promoted, while the mini-tournament to determine third place today included Pisa (67), Monza (67), Brescia (66), Ascoli (65), Benevento (63) and Perugia ( 58).

ENGLAND

Norwich (21) and Watford (23) left the Premier League. Leeds (34), Burnley (34) and Everton (36) are very hesitant: one of the three is leaving.

The Championship is awarded with two direct quotas and one via the competition, which is resolved at Wembley. Fulham (90) and Bournemouth (88), the best seeded, moved up, while Huddersfield (82), Nottingham Forest (80), Sheffield United (75) and Luton Town (75) entered the play-offs.

FRANCE

Saint-Étienne (31) would go to the play-out after 36 matches and Bordeaux (27) would be sentenced together with Metz (28) in Ligue 1. Lorient (34) saves himself.

The Ligue 2 with Toulouse (79) and Ajaccio (72) would become the vice champions, while Auxerre (71), Paris FC (67) and Sochaux (67) enter the mini-tournament of 3 to solve the promotion quota.
