So, the captain of the capital’s team repeated the record of the former hockey player “Washington” Scott Stevens and helped in all five meetings of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
In total, Ovechkin had one goal and six assists in these NHL playoffs. Along with TJ Oshie, he is the team’s top scorer at this stage.
The Capitals’ 36-year-old captain finished fourth on the list of all-time goalscorers, scoring 50 goals and 40 assists in the regular season against their opponents.
