Valery Karpin, head coach of the Russian Premier League (RPL) “Rostov” club, spoke about the rumors about the possible transfer of the captain of the Rostov team, Danil Glebov, to the Moscow “Spartak”.
“We talked with Glebov about his future. I don’t know how true the rumors about him are because as far as I know, nobody went to the club.
If in Rostov Glebov can do exactly the same as in Spartak, why take a new step? – quotes Karpin’s words sports24.
The media reported that Spartak showed interest in Glebov, but found Rostov’s asking price for the 23-year-old football player too high and was ready to pay more than 6-7 million euros for the midfielder.
Glebov has been playing for Rostov since the 2018/2019 season. In the current championship of the Russian Premier League, the player took part in 28 games, where he managed to score four goals and make four assists. According to Transfermarkt, Glebov has a market value of 7.5 million euros.
Former Spartak Moscow forward Quincy Promes judicial Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spersyan is the best player of the Russian Premier League in the 2022/23 season.
