Real Madrid has signed Jude Bellingham, as ‘The Athletic’ has progressed. It was the main objective of the Madrid team for this market and they achieved it. The 19-year-old midfielder (turns 20 on June 29) arrives after being named Bundesliga MVP and finished second in the Golden Boy voting for the past two seasons.
Bellingham thus joins the most promising midfield in Europe Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni. In his first season he will share a dressing room with two of the best of all time, such as Kroos and Modric, and although he arrives with the galactico band, he will have to work hard to take the position of undisputed starter.

Real Madrid pays a fixed amount of 100 million euros that will be paid out in several installments, to which some yet to be confirmed variables will be added. In total, Bellingham’s signing could be between 100 and 125 million euros. He signs for six seasons, through June 30, 2029. It will be presented next week at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Jude Bellingham is an all rounder. At Borussia Dortmund he played behind the attacker with a lot of freedom, but in England, for example, he played inside, with a lot of back and forth. A vertical footballer profile, much more offensive than defensive, but with good athleticism to help with defense and transitions. He could play behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1 or inside in a 4-3-3.
The player’s salary has not been disclosed, although some major media outlets say he will earn around seven million euros per season. As for the bib, Jude Bellingham has worn the number 22 both with Borussia Dortmund and England. That number is worn by Antonio Rüdiger, so he has to choose another number unless the German gives it to him.
