David Sangare, goalkeeper of Moscow Rodina of financial origin, told a funny story from childhood about skin color.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper was born in Mali but spent his childhood in Volgograd. He graduated from Sangare, Rotor Volgograd and Dynamo Moscow academies. He also has experience playing for Russian youth teams of different ages.
“When I was a kid, I had to explain several times to the kids that dark-skinned people can also sunbathe. And it’s even stronger than when the skin is lighter. It is a well-known fact, but many eyes climbed on their foreheads (laughs), ”quotes the athlete sports24.
Sangare has made 24 appearances for Rodina this season, conceding 23 goals and conceding 10 goals.
In the last round of the First Division, Rodina drew with Rubin Kazan (0-0) and finished fifth. The Moscow club will play the play-offs with the 14th team of the Russian Premier League (RPL) due to the third-placed Vladikavkaz Alania’s failure to obtain a license.
