Asensio announced his departure from the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday, June 3. The Mallorcan footballer did not accept the renewal proposal from the capital club and, at the age of 27, preferred to seek his luck in another competition. And that competition is that of France: Asensio continues its way in Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
As Goal has learned through his PSG correspondent, Marc Mechenoua, Asensio will undergo a medical with the French this Monday and sign a contract until 2027. The former Espanyol player is already in the French capital with his agent, Jorge Mendes, to seal the link with PSG for the next four seasons.
Asensio, who arrives at the Parque de los Príncipes as a free agent, with PSG paying nothing for his signing, will earn around €10 million for each of the four years he will play with the Parisians. His signing is expected to become official in the coming hours.
