General Director of the capital “Spartak” Yevgeny Melezhikov commented on the development of the criminal case against midfielder Quincy Promes, whom the Dutch prosecutor’s office accused of smuggling 1370 kg of cocaine in 2020.
According to him, the club expresses its full support to the player and finds the accusations against him unfounded until a decision is made.

Recall that on May 30, the Dutch prosecutor’s office accused the football player of involvement in drug trafficking.
Quincy Promes scored 25 goals in all competitions and provided 10 assists for Spartak last season.
