Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad has signed a contract with French striker Karim Benzema, who will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, Saudi Arabian state television reported. Al Ekhbariya.
The player will sign a two-season contract with Al-Ittihad.
The media had previously reported that Benzema will receive around €200 million for this deal.
Benzema’s contract with the Spanish team expires at the end of the La Liga season. On June 4, Real Madrid announced that the footballer would be leaving the club and wished the Frenchman success in his future career.
The French footballer, together with Real Madrid, is four times Spanish champion, three times the Cup and four times the country’s Super Cup winner. He has also won the Champions League and the Club World Cup five times.
In the fall of 2022, the striker won the Ballon d’Or for the first time in his career.
