Coach Semin believes the environment of club owner Fedun is responsible for Spartak’s failures

Former head coach of Lokomotiv Yuri Semin shared his views on the latest situation in Spartak, owned by Russian businessman Leonid Fedun. Semin’s words convey “Sport Express”.

“Of course, Spartak cannot win a championship in 20 years with the number of fans it has, its meticulousness and the talent of the club. This is not true. But the fact that there was no result, in the first place, it seems to me, is to blame for Fedun’s entourage. He creates all the objective possibilities for it to be much better.”

Fedun acquired a controlling stake in Spartak in 2004.

After 28 rounds in the Russian Premier League (RPL), Spartak scored 37 points and finished in ninth place.

In the next round, the red-and-whites will beat the national champion Zenit St. Petersburg to play. The match will be played on May 15. Muscovites continue to fight for the Russian Cup. Today, on May 11, they will play the semi-finals with Krasnoyarsk Enisey. It starts at 19:30 Moscow time.

Former People’s Artist of the RSFSR and fan of Dynamo Moscow Lev Leshchenko supported Zarema Salikhov – wife of Leonid Fedun.
