Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov reached the fourth round of the Roland Garros Grand Slam tournament held in Paris, France.
In the third round, the 11th racket of the world defeated the Australian representative Tanasi Kokkinakis, who went to the main draw with a wild card at the French Open. Khachanov won with a score of 6:4, 6:1, 3:6, 7:6 (7:5).
The interview lasted 3 hours and 42 minutes.
Khachanov completed five innings straight, made two double mistakes and also converted five breakouts out of 17. His opponent scored six aces, a double fault and three timeouts out of seven.
Khachanov’s next opponent will be the winner of the third round match between Italian Lorenzo Sonego and Russian Andrey Rublev.
Recall that Khachanov reached the semifinals of the last two Grand Slam tournaments – the US and Australian Opens.
