Italian Roma’s coach Jose Mourinho said he was proud of his players after losing to Spain’s Sevilla in the Europa League final.

We lost the match, but we did not lose our dignity. I’m going home proudly. Even when I won it wasn’t that strong.

Recall that Sevilla defeated Roma in the Europa League final. The main and extra time of the decisive match of the tournament ended with a score of 1:1 and the fate of the cup was decided in the penalty shootout, where the players of the Spanish team were stronger (4:1).

For Sevilla, this was their seventh win in the Europa League. The club has never lost in this European Cup final. It has won the UEFA Cup twice and the Europa League five times in the last 18 years.
