Former football player Shmarov named best striker of RPL season

Former Spartak Moscow football player Valery Shmarov said he considers the red-and-white forward Quincy Promes to be the best forward of the Russian Premier League (RPL) season. Transmits words “RB Sports”.

“I would give this award to Quincy Promes. Of course, why are you asking him, right? I want to answer you briefly and clearly – because he is a Spartacist like me. “I will not hide the reason for my choice,” said Shmarov.

Quincy Promes has scored 25 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions for Spartak this season.

On May 30, the Dutch prosecutor’s office accused the football player of involvement in drug trafficking. It has been reported that we are talking about two shipments of cocaine seized in Antwerp in 2020. In one it is 720 kg, in the other – 650 kg.

In another criminal case, Promes is accused of stabbing his cousin in the summer of 2020. According to media reports, the hearing of both cases will be held in Amsterdam on 5 June.

Previously, former adviser Franco Camozzi, former owner of Spartak Leonid Fedun, spoke Promes was accused of involvement in drug trafficking.
