ESPN places Bobrovsky second on their list of Conn Smythe Cup contenders

Journalist ESPN Greg Wyshinsky has released the ranking of the top contenders for the Conn Smythe Cup.

The Conn Smythe Trophy is awarded to the most valuable hockey player in the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. Florida and Vegas Golden Knights will play in the final series of the playoffs.

According to the journalist, Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk is the main contender for the award. On the second line is Florida goalie Sergey Bobrovsky. Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel rounds out the top three. In fourth place, Vyshinsky put Vegas ahead of Jonathan Marchessault. In fifth place is Vegas goalie Edin Hill.

Bobrovsky played 14 games in this playoff, conceding an average of 2.21 goals and conceding 93.5% of shots.

The first leg of the 2023 Stanley Cup Final between Vegas and the Florida Panthers will be played on June 4 in Las Vegas.
