A Russian hockey player will win the Stanley Cup for the eighth time in a row. Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights have reached the finals of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs, both teams have representatives from Russia. For Florida this is goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky and for Vegas forward Ivan Barbashev.
Bobrovsky never won the Stanley Cup, Barbashev won the trophy in 2019 in St. Louis won with the Blues.
