The two Russian hockey players will take part in the final series of the Stanley Cup in the 2022/23 season.

This is Florida Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky and Vegas Golden Knights forward Ivan Barbashev.

Florida defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4-0 and Vegas the Dallas Stars 4-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals to become the Western Champions.

Barbashev previously served in St. Louis had won the Stanley Cup while playing for the Blues. Bobrovsky has never been the champion of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Barbashev, 27, was born in February 2023 in St. Louis to Vegas Golden Knights. He has been playing for his former team since 2017.

Bobrovsky, 34, played for the Philadelphia Flyers and Columbus Blue Jackets throughout his NHL career. He moved to Florida in 2019, signing a seven-year contract.

The first match of the final series of the 2022/23 season will be played on June 4 and will start at 03:00 Moscow time. The match will be played at the Vegas Golden Knights’ home ground in Paradise.
