Guillermo Abascal, head coach of Moscow “Spartak”, posted a photo with a newborn son on a social network.
The first-born in the family of a Spanish specialist and his wife, Alejandra, was born on May 26 in Moscow.
“A unique moment for you and me, Alejandra, I am strong, brave and special. Light of my love, I love you. Welcome to the world Guillermo Nicolai Abascal. May 26, 2023,” Abascal wrote.
Earlier, the coach said that he specifically chose a Spanish-Russian name for his first child.
He was at the wedding table in Moscow at the beginning of April with Alejandra, the fiancee of the red-white teacher. The newlyweds visited Red Square after the ceremony.
Abascal became Spartak’s head coach at the end of last season, replacing Italian Paolo Vanoli. The 34-year-old Spaniard previously worked with Swiss Basel, where he finished second in the local Super League. Abascal has also worked for Sevilla, Swiss Chiasso and Lugano, Italian Ascoli and Greek Volos.
