Yekaterinburg “Ural” defeated the suburb “Khimki” in the away match of the 29th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

The match played in Khimki on 27 May ended with the guest team’s score of 3-0.

Striker Alexander Yushin scored a double goal for Ural in the 24th and 40th minutes. In the second half, midfielder Daniel Mishkic sent another ball into the red-black’s goal (63rd minute).

This victory was the ninth for the wards of Viktor Goncharenko in the 2022/23 RPL season. The Urals collected 33 points and retained their 11th place in the ranking.

Having lost the chance to lose their record in the Russian Premier League ahead of schedule, Khimki is in the penultimate 15th place. This defeat became the 19th defeat of the season for the Moscow Region team.

In the 30th final round of the RPL, Ural will play against Sochi at home on June 3, while Khimki will face Pari Nizhny Novgorod away.
