Red Star Stars’ Russian player received Serbian passport

Igor Prutsev, the father of 20-year-old Red Star midfielder Yegor Prutsev, has confirmed that his youngest son has obtained Serbian citizenship.

“Yes, it is true that Yegor received a Serbian passport. It was an easy procedure for us because the club was fully involved in all matters,” explains Pritsev Sr. Meta ratings.

Prutsev was transferred to the Serbian team last summer. Before that, he played for Neftekhimik, Tekstilshchik and Sochi. Swiss Basel is reportedly interested in him.

Red Star became the champion of Serbia once again this season. The club from Belgrade is the club with the most titles in its country.

Yegor’s older brother represents Spartak Moscow, where he moved last winter. Danil Prutsev managed to play 24 games with the red and whites in the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
