Former head coach of Lokomotiv and the Russian national team Yuri Semin believes that Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk does not need to return to the Russian Premier League (RPL).
“Should Miranchuk go back to RPL? I don’t see the point. Alexey had a good season in Serie A, he will be in demand there. It’s too early to return to the RPL, you have to stay in Italy and prove yourself there. Miranchuk has not yet shown all his masters to the Italians, ”says Semin “Rating bookmakers”.
On Sunday, Torino drew 1-1 with Fiorentina. Miranchuk took the field in the 61st minute of the match. Five minutes later, Turintsy leveled the score.
In September 2020 Miranchuk moved from Lokomotiv Moscow to Italian Atalanta. His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2024. The Russian player failed to secure a spot in the main team and moved to Turin on loan last summer.
In total, Miranchuk has recorded four goals and five assists in 27 Serie A games this season.
In mid-March, Miranchuk was injured in Turin and missed the national team’s training camp in March.
Formerly Yuri Semin Said Miranchuk will have a chance to get a place in Atalanta.
