Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko will contest the outcome of his fight with American Devin Haney “Championship”.
“This is the biggest robbery in broad daylight. Of course we will object, we will protest,” said Lomachenko’s manager, Egis Klimas.
Haney defeated Lomachenko in a title fight for the undisputed lightweight champion title.
The fight in the weight category up to 61.2 kg took place in Las Vegas (USA), lasted 12 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision in favor of Haney.
Thanks to this success, the Americans extended their undefeated streak to 30 wins (15 by knockout). For the Ukrainian, this loss was the third in his professional career.
