The Sevilla team will have 24 hours of rest in the run-up to the Europa League final

LaLiga has made official the change of the date of the match they would play Seville and Real Madrid next Sunday, May 28 at seven o’clock in the afternoon and at the same time on to Saturday 27.

The reason is the final of the Europa League that Mendilíbar’s team should play, the day 31, against Roma. If the previous schedule had been maintained, the Sevilla players would have had just over 48 hours of rest between the two games.

This variation also replaces the match that Madrid would play against Rayo, at the Bernabéu, on Thursday, May 25 at 10 p.m.. The meeting is also brought forward a day so that the meringues have more rest between this bet and that of Sánchez Pizjuán. In this case, the schedule will be different since then It will be played on Wednesday 24 hours at half past seven.

LaLiga made this decision because it believes it’s the best option and it doesn’t hurt the rest of the rivals because the battle for Europe isn’t a battle between just two teams so they believe that the effect of knowing the result of Sevilla-Real Madrid does not affect the rest of the equipment.
