Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has reached the semi-finals of the Masters series tournament held these days in Rome.
In the quarter-final match, the Greek athlete faced Borna Coric, the representative of Croatia. The fight, which lasted for 1 hour and 37 minutes, ended 6:3, 6:4 in two sets.
Tsitsipas will face Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals.
Medvedev met with German representative Yannick Hanfmann in the quarterfinals of the Masters tournament held in Rome. The match, which lasted 1 hour and 21 minutes, ended with the victory of the Russians with the scores of 6:2 and 6:2 in two sets.
Medvedev previously cleared Spaniard Carlos Alcaras from first place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) title race. Russian, who beat German Alexander Zverev and reached the quarter-finals of the Masters in Rome, recorded 3660 points.
