Former FIFA referee Sergey Khusainov announced the decision to dismiss Leo Goglichidze of Sergey Karasev, the head referee of the final match between Krasnodar and Ural in the Russian Cup Regions Road.

“Any violation that occurs on or off the pitch is disciplinary action. It has nothing to do with the sequel of the game. If there is contact, the violation must be recorded. Cordoba was offside, Goglichidze played hard and received a second yellow card despite being offside. Karasev made the right decision,” reports Khusainov “Sport Express”.

Krasnodar will host Ural today in the final match of the Russian Cup Regions Road. At the last minute, the referee of the match, Sergey Karasev, showed the second yellow card and sent the visiting team’s defender Leo Goglichidze out of the game for fouling John Cordoba. The match ended with Krasnodar’s 2:1 victory.. Vladimir Ivic’s team will play against CSKA in the Super Final.
