The youth player, an important part for Baraja at the end of the season, seals his renewal with the first team.
Valencia has made the renovation of one of the jewels of the ‘Factory Mestalla’ official. Javi Guerra will continue to wear the ‘che’ club shirt until 2027, the Mestalla club said in an official statement.
The 20-year-old midfielder has made a strong breakthrough into the Valencia first team, appearing in six first-team games since making his debut against Sevilla.
In fact, the young linchpin was a starter for Baraja in the team’s last two games, against Villarreal in Mestalla and against Celta in Balaidos.
In addition, Guerra was the author of the goal that gave Valencia victory over Valladolid in the last minute of the game and that is currently the key to keeping the team out of the relegation zone.
Javi Guerra ended up at Valencia youth B of Villarreal in 2019. Since then, the footballer has been promoted to the youth A, Valencia Mestalla and finally to the first team, signing this new contract that will see him join until June 30, 2027.
