Former Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky, who currently serves as the goalkeeping coach of the Armenian national team, compared the salary level in the clubs of this country in the championship and in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
“Only two or three clubs in Armenia pay really reasonable salaries. There are many more such teams in Russia.
The worthy ones are up to 10 thousand dollars. But only a few get that much – truly star football players by Armenian standards. And from what I’ve heard the average salary is 3-4-5k dollars. In RPL, the majority of players get a lot more,” quotes the coach “Championship.com”.
In addition to Dynamo, Berezovsky, St. Petersburg “Zenith”, the capital’s “Torpedo” and the suburban “Khimki”. He has been a member of the Armenian national team since 2020.
