Petersburg “Zenith” goalkeeper Vyacheslav Malafeev shared his views on his former teammate Andrei Arshavin. RT.

“Arshavin because of his highest class. Sometimes he could stand half a game without the ball. But then he took it and made a decision that no one would have thought of, ”said Malafeev.

Arshavin played for Zenit from 1999 to 2008. He then played for London Arsenal. He returned to Zenit in 2012, where he played until 2015. Arshavin completed his career in Kazakh “Kairat” in 2018.

Arshavin made 74 matches for the Russian national team and scored 17 goals.
