Former head coach of St. Petersburg “Zenith” Luciano Spalletti congratulated the blue-white-blues for their title in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
On May 4, Napoli, led by Spalletti, became champions of Italy ahead of schedule.
“If Napoli wins the championship, if Zenit wins, that means we and Zenit are double champions. We like the same things: sea, sky, we have the same colors and we and Zenit love to win trophies.

Spalletti served as Zenit’s head coach from 2009 to 2014. Together with him, the team became the Russian champion twice (2010, 2011/2012), won the Russian Cup – 2009/2010, and also the Russian Super Cup – 2011.
