Irina Viner, President of the All-Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (VFCG) and head coach of the national team, suggested holding an alternative Olympic.
“You have to find the good in the bad. On the one hand, it’s bad that they don’t let us in, they discriminate against us, they want to classify us as homeless to say the least. These sanctions have even helped us to some extent improve our competitions and our athletes, so we need to adapt to interacting with the SCO and BRICS countries. Let’s make our league like NHL and KHL, let’s act like clubs and make our own alternative Olympics,” Viner says. DEA News.
